Northharlsted Market Days is one of the Chicago LGBT events that takes place every year during first weekend in August. Over 100,000 people fly down to Chicago to attend the event on Halsted Street. 3) Bud Billiken Parade and Picnic

The Bud Billiken Parade and Picnic is one of the oldest and largest African-American parade in United States. Event is held during second Saturday in August. Main focus of the parade is education. You can call it “Back to School” celebration.

4) Chicago Air and Water Show

The Chicago Air and water show is one of the largest free air shows in USA. Michigan lakefront is one of the best place to view the show.
