Every year in Chicago, 3 days are celebrated as Gay Pride Festival. First two days of Chicago gay fest, Friday and Saturday, are celebrated with performances and events. Festival ends with the parade on Sunday.
There was a news for 2013 that LGBT event organizers are going to expand the festival for a full week similar to other countries and major cities. According to event organizers, fest will be held starting from June 21st and will be followed by one week long LGBT events in Chicago. Festival will end with the big parade on last day of June that is June 30th, 2013.
