Hope everyone had a great new year, this is my first post on GoVisitChicago of the year 2019. I believe most of us all love Chicago style pizza, and have their favorite pizza places to hangout in Chicago. As National Pizza Week, Jan 13 – 19, 2019, is approaching, I have come up with the list of few of my favorite pizza places in Chicago for your reference.

Chicago Deep Dish Pizza…

First time Chicago visitors, if you have not tried our deep dish pizza then I insist! You must try Chicago’s famous deep dish pizza. Following are my favorite deep dish pizza places in Chicago. You will not go wrong if you decide to dine at one of their locations. Bring your appetite ! 🙂

Pizzeria UNO

Pizzeria UNO Deep Dish Pizza started it all in 1943. Today they have two locations in downtown Chicago. The original location is known as Pizzeria UNO and the second location is now known as Pizzeria DUE. Both locations are serving authentic Chicago style deep dish pizza. My favorite from Pizzeria UNO is Veggie Deep Dish Pizza, but they also have many other options available for order on the menu.

Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria

Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria has over 50 locations throughout the Chicagoland and now opening 3 more locations in Arizona. Yes, our Chicago-style deep dish pizza location is going nationwide. Their locations are mix of dine-in restaurants and carryout and delivery only locations. You must check the location for the dine-in option, to make sure they accommodate what you’re looking for!

Giordano’s

Giordano’s serving one of the best stuffed Deep dish pizza, that you can have in Chicago! If you are visiting Chicago then I must insist you to try their stuffed deep dish pizza. They call it their “Famous Stuffed Deep Dish Pizza”. You can make your own deep dish pizza with choice of your favorite ingredients or you can order from the menu. Either way you are guaranteed to have stuffed deep dish pizza!

Chicago Thin Crust Pizza…

If you are not into deep dish pizza then nothing to worry. We also got best thin crust pizza in Chicago. Following two are my favorite thin crust pizza places in Chicago.

Coalfire Pizza

Chicago’s coal oven thin crust pizza. They do not serve typical Chicago style pizza, but I would say something unique flavors and ingredients that you can enjoy on thin crust. At Coalfire Pizza all pizzas are made to order with fresh ingredients in wood fire oven. I have been to Coalfire couple of times and never had any bad experience. Coalfire Pizza has two locations in Chicago.

Home Run Inn Pizza

Home Run Inn is family-owned business since 1923 in Chicago. Home Run Inn pizza place was started from a small tavern on Chicago’s South Side and today they have multiple locations in Chicagoland. All pizzas are made from scratch, fresh daily at Home Run Inn. Don’t forget to ask about the history behind the name!

Chicago Pizza Places to Hangout

Looking for a cool place to hang out with friends or watch a game? You will not go wrong at following two pizza places in Chicago. You will have great time enjoying pizza and some drinks.

Parlor Pizza

Parlor Pizza has couple of locations, but I have been to their Wicker Park location. As a whole, Parlor Pizza is a great place to hang out after work with friends for drinks and dinner in Wicker Park. Place is very elegant and fully of energy serving good selection of pizzas and cocktail menu.

Piece Brewery and Pizzeria

Piece Brewery and Pizzeria is also located in Wicker Park, serving unique pizza along with their own brewed beers. I recommend you to try their beer flight! Piece brewery is not Chicago style pizza place, they are serving New Haven style pizza in Chicago. Made fresh using local ingredients from scratch.

Da Pizza Dude

Da Pizza Dude is one of my favorite places to get a slice of pizza pie in downtown Chicago. Da Pizza Dude is located on Wacker Drive, between Monroe and Adams Drive. I recommend you to try their Margarita Pizza slice if you are around the area during lunch time.

Chicago Pizza Food Tours…
