Fall Fest in Chicago – Lincoln Park Zoo
Where: Lincoln Park Zoo
Dates: September 29 – October 29 & Monday October 9 – 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

Have fun at Lincoln Park Zoo’s 3rd annual fall fest. One of the best family friendly things to do in Chicago during fall season. Fall fest at Lincoln Park Zoo features corn maze, hay mountain, slide and kids friendly activities. You can purchase tickets for rides at Lincoln Park Zoo – one ticket for $3, 10 tickets for $27 and 20 tickets for $51. Pumpkin will be available for purchase daily throughout the fall fest. Lincoln Park Zoo members can take advantage of members only offer to save $2 on pack of 10 or 20 tickets with the coupon that you receive in email. Fest also features musical entertainment and many fall themed activities!
Fall Fest 2017 – Norwood Park

Date: September 15 – 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm; September 16 12:00pm to 10:00pm
Enjoy weekend at Fall Fest if you are around the ara. Live band music entertainment and kids activities on September 16th between noon to 8:00 pm. More than 25 vendors serving plenty of food and drinks!

Fall Fest – Des Plaines Park District
Where: Lake Park – 2200 Lee St, Des Plaines, IL 60018
Dates: September 15, 2017 Friday 6:00pm to 11:00 pm; September 16 & 17 – Noon – 11:00pm
Admission: FREE
Welcome fall season with Des Plaines community at Lake Park at Fall Fest. Enjoy over 20 different kinds fo rides, plenty of games and options to eat. Family with kids can take advantage of KidZone! to participate in kids friendly activities such as face painting, games, arts and crafts. Also, pony rides will be availalbe for kids entertainment at Fall Fest at Des Plaines Park District. FREE parking is available at the fall festival in Des Plaines.
Do not forget to check list of places to celebrate Oktoberfest in Chicago. Also, as I mentioned in hummingbirds in Chicago post, make sure to keep hummingbird feeders full through October first week to help migrating young hummingbirds!
