Food I enjoyed the most at Taste of Chicago 2017
I know, I am late! You must be thinking I am sharing my favorite restaurants from Taste of Chicago after three weeks! Sometimes we tend to skip certain things for sometime unexpectedly, this post is one of the examples. I wanted to share restaurants where I have never ate before but tried first time at the Taste of Chicago 2017. Among all the restaurants where I ate, I liked two new food places during my visit to Taste of Chicago 2017. I recommend you to visit following two restaurants and try food at least once if you are in the area!
La Bomba Puerto Rican Restaurant
– 5-Day Restaurant at Taste of Chicago 2017
La Bomba Puerto Rican restaurant is located at 3221 W Armitage Ave, Chicago, IL 60647. This restaurant is one of those neighborhood eatery that serves Puerto Rican style food and drinks. I heard about La Bomba but never got a chance to visit the restaurant. It was right opportunity to check the quality of food at Taste of Chicago.

I ordered Chicken Shish Kabob that came with white bread slice. Chicken kabobs were very well cooked and dipped in homemade sweet-n-spicey sauce. I recommend you to try La Bomba restaurant as it has made on my “must visit” list of restaurants in Chicago. I must say, staff was very friendly even though it was crazy busy. I am hoping the same customer service when I visit La Bomba puerto rican restaurant.

Yum, chicken looks very delicious on the grill at La Bomba Puerto Rican Restaurant
The second best food place I liked at Taste of Chicago was Carbon Live Fire Mexican Grill restaurant. Yes, It makes it sound like I fond of Latin American food but that’s the truth, co-incidentally I loved tacos at Carbon!
Carbon Live Fire Mexican Grill
– 5-Day Restaurant at Taste of Chicago 2017
Chicken tacos at Carbon Live Fire Mexican Grill was perfect! I loved the tacos made with authentic sauces and tender chicken stripes. I must say, after eating small tacos from Carbon at Taste of Chicago, it’s on my list to eat restaurants in Chicago. I did not know that Carbon live fire Mexican Grill was also featured on Travel Channel’s “Food Paradise” show. Carbon Live Fire Mexican Grill has two locations in Chicagoland.
