• Your Go Card validation period is not counted based on 24 hours from the time you use first time. Card is activated when you visit first attraction. Your days are counted based on your first use, for example let’s say today if you use your card first time at 5:00 pm in the evening then today is considered as Day 1. It DOES not go by hours. So, if you use it at 5:00 pm then your day gives you only half an hour to use.It is recommended to use card at 9:00 am to take full benefit of your purchase.Go Chicago Card is valid to use from morning 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. So, it will not work after 5:30 pm. Make sure to plan your itinerary accordingly.Best example of using your card before 5:30 is at Navy Pier. When you present your card, you receive tickets for 5 included rides. These passes you can use it anytime even after 5:30 pm.

• My personal opinion, plan your Chicago itinerary in advance to decide which attractions you want to visit. Even though you get access to over 25 attractions, do not try to visit them all. By rushing for attraction you will end up making your Chicago vacation hectic. Trust me, You will still save money by visiting important attraction than rushing around to see all included attractions. Make your Chicago trip memorable.
