A good place to start would be the ‘Miniland’, which is literally a miniature of Chicago, made from nearly 1.5 million LEGO bricks. It is right at the entrance and offers a fascinating glimpse into some of Chicago’s signature icons including the Sears Tower, Water Tower, Buckingham Fountain, Hancock building and even the ‘SeaPup’ speed boat.

After this captivating site, if your kids get all inspired to build something of their own, then the next stop should ideally be at ‘Build and Test’ or ‘Model Builders Workshop’, As the name suggests, at ‘Build and Test’ your child gets to use his or her creativity and imagination to create their own unique model from thousands of LEGO bricks. They can then take them to the Test Center to test if their model is truly good enough in comparison to others.

The ‘Model Builders Workshop’ also offers your kids and you a chance to challenge your creative skills by trying to build your own abstract sculpture. Several classes are held each day to offer step-by-step instructions on creating all kinds of unique models of buildings, animals, sports items etc.

If you are curious to know how these fascinating LEGO Bricks are made then a ‘Factory Tour’ is a must where Professor Brick a Brack will take you through each and every step of the manufacturing process. In fact you will even get to take home your own LEGO Factory brick.

If you have exercised enough of your creative skills and seek some thrill and adventure then how about experiencing some of the most exciting rides. ‘Technicycle’ is one such ride that lets you to enjoy a fast and thrilling experience where you spin in cycles and the challenge is to cycle as fast as you can to see how high you can go.

The ‘Dragon Ride’ is equally fun where you get to climb aboard the giant green dragon and enjoy a swirling ride through the medieval castle. However, all through the ride you need to watch out for the big red dragon, which can pop out and catch you, unaware. Another action packed adventure awaits you at the ‘Jungle Adventure’, which takes you on a quest to unearth the secret of the Jungle through the quiz card challenge. On the way you are accompanied by a delightful assortment of LEGO characters and creatures.

Finally round up your adventurous activities at the Physical Play or also known as the Soft Play zone. Big, bright and colorful, here you can spend hours mounting over the jungle gym and trying to scale up the heights of the climbing wall. After all that playing you can enjoy a nice little break at the LEGO café, where you can relish a host of delightful snacks and drinks.
