Situated in the popular River North neighborhood, this bar and grill is known for offering casual yet mouthwatering menu consisting of salads, sandwiches, pizzas and entrees. The décor too is casual and comfortable yet very stylish and sophisticated, as it combines the natural elements with a sleek and a modern design. The extensive use of natural bricks, beams and a 75 ft. skylight, metal sculptures and chandeliers exude a raw yet a charming appeal. Even the cocktail tables are made from authentic tree stumps and the lounge along with an island bar and 50inch flat screen plasma complete the look of this hip and trendy bar and grill.

At Rocket Bar & Grill , the executive chef James Gottwald excels at adding a delicious twist by fusing seasonal ingredients to the typical American grub. The casual yet hip and trendy character also reflects in its menu card where good old American specialties have been given unique names to match with the restaurant’s eclectic character. For example ‘Rockit Pockits’ is a combination of chopped steak topped with American cheese, sautéed onions and crispy wrap. ‘BBQ Pork Sliders’ is also another interesting dish that comprises of three miniature black angus, tomatoes, lettuce, parkerhouse buns, French fries and pickles. ‘Southwestern Chopped Salad’ and ‘My Sisters Chopped Salad’ are the two signature dishes under the salad section. The first is a delightful mix of BBQ chicken, corn, cheddar, tomato, chili peanuts and jalapeno ranch dressing. The second one promises to be a spicy treat with salami, ditalini pasta, red peppers, corn, eggs, balsamic hazelnut dressing and romaine.
