Visitors are allowed to go up to 1,353 feet. It’s an experience. You’ll catch an amazing 360 degree view of the city down below, its neighborhoods, and even the suburbs. In fact, you can see four states in all directions from up here. If the day is clear, you can see the borders of the state with Wisconsin and Indiana. You will be able to see Lake Michigan too. But don’t forget the exhibits that reveal the rich history of Chicago. You can learn about the rich history, culture and sports of Chicago. These interactive exhibits will give you a lot of information. There are special kid-friendly displays as well.
You will see the city skyline in front of you. Willis Tower stands tall above everything else, and so, you’ll never have any obstructions. Expand your horizon. Look at distant objects miles away. Look down if you don’t have vertigo to catch the action far, far away.

Skydeck is a stunning construction. It’s actually a ledge that stands out from the main building. Made completely of glass, it extends by four feet outside the edge of the building. You’ll feel as if you are standing on the edge, or floating above the city. Take a picture of you standing on the ledge. The glass is so clear that you’ll feel as if there is no barrier between you and the void outside. Skydeck has certainly made it worth it to climb all the way to the top. The view is in one word – fantastic.
Don’t worry! The ledge is completely safe. You will get the ticket for Skydeck, while you are taking the pass for the Willis Tower.
The name changed from Sears Tower to Willis Tower in 2009 when Willis Group Holdings, Ltd. of London purchased the naming rights. The company also got leasing space for three floors.
