I love Chicago during summer season. As we all know, August is the last month to enjoy warm days in Chicago. Usually, after Labor Day weekend weather tends to get little colder in Chicago. LOLLAPALOOZA AUGUST 2-5, 2018
Where: Grant Park, Chicago
When: August 2nd through 5th, between 11:00 am to 10:00 pm
Enjoy 4-Days music festival in Chicago’s Grant Park. Lollapalooza kicked of Thursday with great start! Overall, one of the best summer music festivals in Chicago. If you have not been to Lollapalooza then I insist you to visit once. Even if you do not like music, you will have great fun enjoying with the energetic crowd.
CHICAGO HOT DOG FEST AUGUST 2018
Where: The festival is held at Stockton and LaSalle Drive in Chicago.
When: AUGUST 10-12, 2018
Chicago is famous for the Chicago-style hot dog. Celebrate Chicago Hot Dog Fest this year with the lead sponsor Vienna Beef. Fest features music bands, family friendly activities and most importantly, Vienna Beef hot dogs prepared in various regional and ethnic styles by the city’s top hot dog vendors. There is not any admission ticket but, Chicago Hot Dog fest has $5 suggested donation and a $20 suggested family donation at the entrance.

NORTHALSTED MARKET DAYS
Where: 3400 N Halsted St., Chicago Illinois
When: AUGUST 11-12, 2018
Northalsted Market Days is one of the largest outdoor street festivals in Chicago. The 37th Northalsted Market Days annual fest will be celebrated on 6 blocks of North Halsted in Boystown/Lakeview neighborhood between Addison and Belmont. Enjoy live music, food, arts and tons of activities.
WINDY CITY CARNIVAL AUGUST 18, 2018
Where: Midway Plaisance, Chicago, IL 60637
When: August 18, 2018
Windy City West Indian Carnival fest is full of colors! Enjoy colorful parade including live music, food, vendors from all over the world and family friendly cultural activities. If you love Caribbean dishes, then I recommend you to visit Windy City Carnival festival to enjoy authentic Caribbean cuisine.
CHICAGO AIR & WATER SHOW AUGUST 18-19, 2018
Where: North Avenue Beach, 1600 N. Lake Shore Dr., Chicago, IL 60613
When: August 18-19, 2018 between 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
The Chicago Air and Water Show is one of the largest Air and Water show in the United States. This Air and Water show is performed along the lakefront from Fullerton to Oak Street with North Avenue Beach as the main focal point.
SANGRIA FESTIVAL AUGUST 19, 2018
Where: Humboldt Park, Chicago IL
When: August 18-19, 2018
Sangria Festival is one of the best summer festivals in Chicago, held at Humboldt Park. This festival features samba parade and flamenco dancers. You must be over age of 21 to attend the festival. Sangria Festival features over 20 hand crafted sangria. Sip sangria in the park.
LOGAN SQUARE FOOD TRUCK SOCIAL AUGUST 2018
When: August 24, 25 and 26 2018
Where: Humboldt Park, Chicago IL between

Taste of Polonia is one of the annual summer festivals in Chicago, held during Labor Day weekend at the Copernicus Center in Chicago’s Jefferson Park neighborhood. Taste of Polonia features live music, food and family friendly activities for four days.
