Top Chicago Summer Festivals in June 2018

I covered list of festivals and events to attend during June 2018 in my previous post on things to do in June. Now as we are approaching end of June month, here are few most popular Chicago summer festivals and events to attend during the last week of June 2018.

Chicago features plenty of neighborhood summer festivals in June including food, drinks and live entertainment. Following list of Chicago festivals and events will give you some ideas about planning things to do in Chicago during last few days of June 2018.

Chicago Food Truck Festival

When: June 23rd – 24th
Where: South Loop – 1600 S. Wabash, Chicago, IL 60616

4th Annual Chicago Mariachi Festival

When: June 24th, 2018
Where: Millennium Park – Jay Pritzker Pavilion
Enjoy the largest mariachi event in the USA, presented by the Mariachi Heritage Foundation, the National Museum of Mexican Art and the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events. Be part of more than 22000 patrons to Millennium Park. You cannot bring your own alcohol at the event. You can purchase food and drinks at the event from approved vendors.

Chicago 49th Annual Pride Parade

When: June 24, 2018
Where: Uptown
June is the Pride month in Chicago. This LGBT community event is held in uptown. Overall, the joyous, rainbow colors filled parade. The parade is scheduled each year for the last Sunday in June. The parade takes place over a four-mile route on Sunday, June 24, 2018. The parade kicks off at noon on Sunday, June 24, 2018, at Montrose Avenue and Broadway in Uptown and ends near the intersection of Diversey Parkway and Sheridan Road in Lincoln Park.

Gold Coast Greek Fest

When: June 22 – June 24, 2018
Where: 1017 N LaSalle, Chicago IL
Enjoy Greek food and drinks at Gold Coast Greek Fest. There will be plenty of options for food including gyros, souvlaki, spanakopita, Greek fries, Nutella covered loukoumades, and assorted pastries. Lagunitas Brewery will be serving drinks at the fest.

Chicago Vegandale Food & Drinks Fest

When: June 30, 2018- 11AM – 7PM
Where: Grant Park – 100 S Lake Shore Drive, Chicago
Are you vegan or vegan curious? Check out Chicago Vegandale food & drinks fest to explore the flavors of vegan food. The Chicago Vegandale Food & Drink festival will feature the colossal burgers, cold brews and live entertainment.

Windy City Ribfest in Uptown

When: June 29 – July 1st
Where: Uptown – 4800 N Broadway St, Chicago IL
Plan on attending Windy City Ribfest in Uptown to enjoy the flavorful ribs from local and national ribbers right here in Chicago. Apart from food and drinks, Windy City Ribfest features plenty of activities for kids and families. Windy city Ribfest is one of the popular Chicago summer festival of the season.
